An estate steeped in history revealing the excellence of the Limoux terroir.

The domain

A unique place in the heart of Cathar country

Château de Brasse stands in the foothills of the Pyrenees, on the banks of the river Aude, in between the municipalities of Limoux and Alet les Bains. The estate extends over 625 acres and 155 are reserved for vines, planted between plains and hillsides. Merlot, pinot noir, cabernet franc, syrah as well as chardonnay, mauzac, sauvignon and chenin are grown on this natural, unspoilt terroir.

The story

A family story for 300 years

The Château de Brasse and its aqueduct, the remarkable gateway to the property, have belonged to the same family since 1719. Today, Claude de Latude and her son Jacques – the ninth and tenth generation – have taken up the torch of the family estate by driving their own dynamics.

Wines

A revealing blend of the Limoux terroir

The Château de Brasse vintage is a selection of the most beautiful plots of the estate, located on the hillsides of the property. Merlot, Cabernet-Sauvignon, as well as Chardonnay, Syrah, and Chenin are thus cultivated on this natural and preserved terroir.
